Class Today
alphatrends, February 15th, 2008 at 3:41 pmThanks to those of you who participated. Here is what they had to say.
Hi Brain,
Thanks for the great course! Love it and totally made me rethink how to look for opportunities and trading strategies.
I strongly encourage people who has been following the website to take this course. It comes with very good pdf doc as well, which is a bonus I didn’t find out until I enrolled for the course.
BTW, I trade both US and Hong Kong stock market. Seems like Brian’s method going to work pretty well in the HK market from look of charts from the past few days.
Happy Trading!
HoustonThanks for the class today Brian. I really enjoyed
it. I have been trading for a couple of years now,
and although I do make a little money, it is always a
struggle. I have never seen the market trends broken
down into 4 stages the way you do it. I look forward
to studying my charts to find what stage we are in,
and act accordingly. I think this alone will
definitely help me a lot.
Thanks again,
David KHey Brian,
It was a great experience taking your class today.
You took away a lot of fear that we small traders have by explaining
the way the market moves.
I think you have really put me in the drivers seat.
Thanks
Johanna
Hi Brian,
I really enjoyed the class today. Timing and risk management are difficult concepts for me when it comes to trading. Your class helped me better understand how to limit risk and find proper times to make purchases. The class basically expanded on what you so generously teach here every day. Thank you. I look forward to your videos every day.
Take care,

Thanks Brian,
Your presentation today was very informative and helped in the understanding of market movements and structure. You clearly define the advantages of following trends and how the to trade them from both the long and short side. I am certain that the knowledge I gained today will help me become a more profitable trader.
Thanks again for sharing your time and experience with us.
JKBrian,
I really enjoyed your class and feel it was time and money well spent. Thank you for answering all the questions so patiently.
I am looking forward to adapting and profiting from the ideas and strategies I learnt today.
Best Wishes,
BadriThank you for the course today. It was extremely useful into your
decision making process.
Good trading – Sincerely,
James SBrian,
Thanks for being a great teacher today. I’be been
trying to swing trade and day trade on and off for a
few years now. Recently unemployed, I’ve been doing
more of it. Sometimes I’m lucky – sometimes not.
I’ve been working hard lately to learn more and not
rely on luck. This class was a great way to put
together some of the ideas I’ve been reading about but
didn’t quite understand beforehand.
Thanks again,
Scott
Denver, COHi Brian,
I really enjoyed today’s class and I feel like I learned some useful tools to help time my entry and exits from the market.
Have a great day!
RennBrain your class today was very informative and well done. I
particularly liked the cycles of market psychology. I believe all
traders will eventually experience the euphoria and panic of a market as
part of the learning curve. Your candid take on how markets move and
why was excellent! The class outlined a clear set of rules and
strategies you follow everyday. Properly align for the trend, execute
successful swing trades and manage risk. I will take what you have
outlined and apply them to my strategies immediately.
Thanks,
Vic -

alphatrends, August 31st, 2007 at 2:54 pmFrom today’s online class, thanks to everyone who particpated!
Hi Brian,
Sorry I didn’t get this to you sooner. I had to run back to get some
other work done after the class. I’m very grateful for your approach
and you did a good job teaching it.Thanks so much for your class today. I knew it would be good because
I’ve been watching your blog for the past several months. I’ve been
making money using your ideas but sometimes I feel like I could be
doing a lot better. Today I learned more precision about trading that
I’m going to enjoy using. Like you said, trading is an art. I’m
grateful that you provide some of the tools to paint the picture better.Scott T
Brian,
As a day trader that has only been in the business for a year now, your trend alignment class was an eye opener.
You taught me to take a step back and see the bigger picture amongst many other details.
I look forward to future classes.
Thanks,Kevin
Brian,
A very informative presentation on how to make the trend your friend. You demonstrate that technical analysis does not have to be overwhelming and complicated. I had already learned so much from viewing your blog and learn much more today.
Anne
Thank you, Brian. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your class has been worth every penny. Your style or method is so similar to what I have been trying to do for so very long, but with much uncertainty and inconsistency. After today’s class I have that much needed clarity and objectivity. Those missing pieces to my consistency. I started following your blog about a month ago and this past month has been my best month ever. Today’s Trend Alignment Class was a real education on “objectivity,” and I only expect things to get better from this point forward.
The class was very clear and easy to understand. I could have gone on listening for many more hours. It was like learning how to solve a very complex puzzle and now knowing the objective rules for solving any puzzle anytime. Again, thank you very, very much.
AndreHello Brian,
Brian, Thanks to you and Terra Nova for today’s outstanding broadcast. I am new to “swing trading” and the information provided today will go along way in making me successful. The up/down trend and resistance portions were very informative. Also, thanks for the blog – it is the first site I check each day.Best Regards,
Greg BIt was a great informative class. You had enough information for a full day seminar. I have been looking
around for identifying stocks in the 4 stages and you did a really great job in covering that in detail.
The offer for Market Profiler for a month made my day. I listen to your posting on your blog religiously
and have learnt a lot from it. Your suggestion to read Stan Weinstein’s helped me in understanding the
market cycles a lot better. You are doing all of us a great service and continued success to your blog.
Once again thanks for the class and let us know if you have any more upcoming seminars. Thanks
HariBrian,
REALLY GREAT class today! The ideas you presented were very clear and well
organized. Also, it’s very apparent you are extremely knowledgeable about
the markets and trading. I feel very confident that this seminar will help
me achieve the next level in trading that I’ve been looking for. Thanks
again.Mike P
I thought the class was very informative. It would be nice if you had other classes. It certainly revealed many fine points to trading, which I have not read before.

Don’t Take My Word For It
alphatrends, July 20th, 2007 at 2:11 pmreview of class today
Brian Shannon;
I’ve been a trader for many years.
I’ve participated in many seminars.
After today, I can say that this is the best money on education I’ve spent in a long time.
I found your 3 1/2 hour presentation to be most excellent!
Being a lecturer, I found your teaching very systematic and concise.
More importantly, your many years of experience as a trader came through with example after example.
It is obvious that you are very insightful about market psychology and the use of price, volume and moving averages in your execution of stock trades.
I’ve always loved your daily blogs and now I know the power of the mind behind it!
EXCELLENT JOB!Ronald M
St. Clair Shores, MIBrian:
Thanks for your efforts in the class. I both appreciated and enjoyed it.
I admire your ability to break your train of thought in the lecture to
answer a question and then to return to the lecture. I think it a
valuable talent. You “talk” better when you have your pencil in hand. As you draw S/R and
trend lines, etc., I find your explanations get more detailed and
specific. Again, a valuable talent.I thought the class well worth the cost. As an investor who has decided
to move a portion of his account into swing trading, I cannot think of a
better introduction. I will have no fear of recommending the class to
others.Cheers: Jim C
I echo what Ronald M and Jim C had to say about your class today. Very concise and efficient. The people who might have been looking for a “system” are likely not as impressed as I. It’s refreshing to hear from a pro that black boxes, stochastics and “systems” are not gifts from the Messiah. People (so-called pros) who “sell” those systems are little more than modern-day snake-oil salesman.
Dear Brian,
Thank you for an awesome class today! It was time and money
well spent. Before today I had heard many of the things before but I did
not know how to properly interpret what I was seeing. You were able to
really explain it in a way that I understood. It is very interesting to
hear about the various forces at work in the market. Also I was able to
identify 2-3 things I was doing incorrectly and I will fine tune many more.
After following your blog for almost a year now this class was exactly what
I hoped. You do a great job sharing your experience with others and every
bit of the information was trult valuabe. Tell me when the next class will
be!!!!!Thank you,
Paul R
Manchester, NHBrian,
Just a note to express my appreciation for the class on Friday. As a somewhat new trader trying to find my way, your insights are the most valuable I have yet come across. I learned more in three hours than I had in the last year. I’m thankful to have discovered the blog site, and look forward to learning more every day.
